Welcome to Camp Jump-In NYC! Whether you are considering us for your camp needs or the traditional day camp experience, summer camp at Jump-In is filled with fun, adventure, excitement, and new friends. Our camp program is based on family values: friendship, honesty, respect, responsibility, kindness, and love. We strive to nurture all of our campers in a challenging and supportive environment where their safety and well-being are a top priority. Camp Jump-In is directed by professional mentors and staff that is dedicated and dynamic leaders. They were carefully chosen due to their maturity, patience, and vast experience working with children.

Nontraditional Camp

Our camp is perfect for campers who want to experience all aspects of the camp day, including activities such as recreational sports, arts and crafts, music, dance, drama, fitness fun, and of course, swimming. Campers learn valuable health and nutrition habits, as well as leadership and team-building skills. We strive to impact each child, so intimate settings of 50 campers separated by age groups help us focus on that goal. 

Our Locations

Our beautiful, private facilities are located in the heart of Brooklyn, NY. The camp is held in two historical church buildings we rent, located in Brooklyn's beautiful Park Slope historic district and Cobble Hill. Its multiple rustic looks include a safe and secure air-conditioned indoor facility.

YOUR CHILD’S SAFETY

The safety of every child is always our highest priority at Camp Jump-In. All staff is CPR and First Aid certified and trained to ensure a safe and secure environment for every camp Mentor. 

AGE TO JUMP-IN 

Children aged 5-13 from all over Brooklyn have come to CAMP JUMP-IN, and your little ones can come and experience eight weeks of fun in the sun! If your camper is 4.5 and is going to kindergarten in the fall, they are welcome to join us! Please note that parents must provide proof of age and the school their child will be attending.

Enrichment Focused Day Camp

Our camp is a program-focused camp where we provide traditional day camp activities. Our schedule consists of Enrichment in the mornings and Camp Activities in the afternoon. 

Summer Learning 

Summer learning is key and crucial to the retention of academic achievements reached during the school year. According to recent research, two-thirds of the achievement gap between lower and higher-income youth can be explained by unequal access to summer learning opportunities. Most low-income students lose two months of grade-level equivalency in math skills and reading achievement over the summer months. To target these statistics, Camp Jump-In invests 4 hours of Enrichment into our daily schedule, 4 days a week!

Splash-Splish

Camp Jump-In has always been known for its outstanding aquatics program. Many camps offer pool water fun, but at Camp Jump-In, we offer 45 min of swim classes. All water activities are carefully supervised by trained, certified lifeguards and swim instructors. Swimming at Camp Jump-In is a tradition your child will surely enjoy!

Family Involvement 

We at Camp Jump-In provide opportunities for family members to get involved in their camper’s summertime fun. Families are invited to camp to participate in activities like Camp trips, Beach cook-out, Pep Rally (what’s camp without the songs?), and Game Day. In these moments, family members get to meet camp staff, their child’s new camp friends and learn about the entire Jump-In company.

CAMP LUNCH

Camp Jump-In provides nourishing, well-balanced, and generous lunches for all full-day campers. Lunch is a time for campers to relax and meet with friends. 

Lunch Facts

• Vegetarian options are available.
• No Kosher or Gluten-free options are available. Campers may bring their own lunch.
• We are a peanut-aware camp; we do not serve products containing peanuts.
• Lunch menus are announced weekly on the Camp Parent memo.
• Assorted seasonal fresh fruit served daily.
• Afternoon snack offered daily.
• Meals are prepared by our private Camp Chef.

Safe and Spirited Bus Transportation

Camp Jump-in contracts with a local transportation company to provide all our bus services during the summer. We are committed to our campers’ safety and well-being on their ride to and from camp. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail. Mr.Drew, the director, and our Transportation Director, Ms.D, oversee the overall safety of our system, from route design and parent communication to the daily supervision of bus drivers and Bus Assistant.

Jump-in Enrichment prides itself in providing excellent services; This is why we provide door-to-door transportation throughout Brooklyn, NY. 

Pick-up time and drop-off time 

• It all depends on your location. Pick up can be as early as 6 Am, and drop off can be as late as 8 pm
