Session Overview
Tutoring sessions are 2 hours and typically take place in assigned locations. Students are expected to be prepared and have all necessary materials (textbooks, worksheets, notebooks/paper, writing utensils, calculator, laptop, etc.) for their tutoring sessions. Tutors are expected to come to sessions prepared along with a laptop and calculator, if needed. Tutors will help students work through course material, provide relevant instruction, and offer valuable tips on study skills in each session.
Scheduling
Parents are given a scheduled time for the school year they must keep.
Sharing Contact Information
Tutors are not allowed to share contact information for the safety of the company.
Cancellation Policy
Jump-In Enrichment does not permit last minute cancellations. Families may cancel up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled tutoring session. If the family cancels the tutoring session less than 24 hours before the session, the family will still be charged for that full session. We kindly ask that you respect our tutors’ time and refrain from cancelling last minute.
Make-Up Sessions
If a family cancels a session, the tutor can schedule a make-up session for a weekday. We advise, for the benefit of the student, that the family and tutor make up any missed session(s) within 2 days of the missed session(s).
Refunds
All sales are final and tuition is nontransferable or refundable.
Termination of Tutoring
If the tutor or family chooses to discontinue tutoring, the tutor or family must inform Mr. Drew, the Executive Director of Jump-In, 30 days prior to the last session. This provides Jump-In with ample time to make necessary scheduling adjustments, as our tutors' schedules are gravely affected in such cases. A-less-than-30-days notice will result in a termination fee of $350.
Billing Policy
All payments are made electronically. Late payments will be assigned a fine of $60.00. No call/no shows will result in a fine of $100. If payments remains unpaid after 60 days, legal action may be taken against the client.

We would appreciate the same from camp families. If there is a change in your household situation, family routine, etc. please let us know and we will gladly do our part to help your camper adjust.
Positive Discipline:
It is our goal to use positive discipline to assist each camper to learn to: understand what behavior or actions are acceptable at camp, take responsibility for their actions, and make socially acceptable behavior a part of their regular routine.
If a camper's behavior needs improvement, these are the steps our counselors are trained to follow:
Bus Mail & Email:
Bus Mail…what’s that? Bus Mail is a note addressed to the appropriate person and given to the Bus Captain. It is then delivered to the office and on to the addressee. In areas that require “follow-up”, the staff member associated with the request will follow-up and respond to you as soon as possible.
Email works too: Office.jumpin@gmail.com.
Use Bus Mail when:
Bus Behavior:
Keeping the children safe is our number one priority. In order to ensure a safe ride, we must be firm about behavior during transportation. If a camper is misbehaving on the bus (i.e. foul language, disturbing fellow campers, not following bus rules) the following steps will be taken:
Always remember, “Tushy on the Cushy.” It’s the safest for the children. If you have any questions or concerns, please call us at 347.688.8671 or email:Summercamp@jumpinenrichment.com.
Swim Policy:
Campers must be able to swim the length of the pool and tread water for one minute before swimming in the deep end or using the diving board. Any camper with hair to their shoulders or longer will be required to have their hair pulled back for safety.
Things from Home:
Parents are asked to help keep personal items at home: books, toys, trading cards and electronics. (Occasionally your camper may be made aware of a special event or opportunity to bring an item from home). All campers are to be individually responsible for their personal items. Keeping track of personal items will be supported by camp staff, but responsibility is upon the camper. ALL weapons or gun style items must remain at home.
Teen Scene campers may use personal items when deemed appropriate by camp staff (normally on the bus). Please note, these items may be confiscated if a Teen Scene privilege is misused. The responsibility for personal items brought to camp is fully on each camper. Please make sure all items brought to camp are labeled with the campers first and last name.
Sun Exposure:
Camp Jump-In has established some specific policies that protect our campers from the effects of sun exposure, while allowing them to enjoy the outdoors. Our staff is vigilant and wants to help our campers protect themselves by doing and reinforcing the following:
Our staff oversee the reapplication of sunscreen regularly to campers K-3rd grade, we will verbally remind older campers throughout the day.
